Omtaler av Parasoud JC3 Jr.
The Parasound Junior is, without a doubt in my mind, the best under-$2000 solid-state phono stage I have ever heard, or even know about.

The Parasound JC 3 Jr. performed way beyond its price class…a fantastic boon to audiophiles everywhere. I cannot recommend it more emphatically!

It’s quiet, quiet, quiet; paints a big soundstage and is incredibly dynamic. Like the more expensive models, you have balanced and single ended output options and the choice of a fixed 47k loading or a variable 50-500 ohm MC setting, with three gain settings; 40, 50, and 60db.

It is dead silent. It is mellifluous. It is sophisticated. It is truly high definition. It yields rock solid imaging and great clarity.

The JC 3 Jr. performs the admirable trick of allowing all that detail and texture to come through and paints it in a realistic manner – not harsh or sibilant, but in the right context of the music. Switching to a Japanese pressing of Rickie Lee Jones’s self-titled debut album, the JC 3 Jr. again allowed for a very enjoyable rendition. Rhythm and dynamics are well rendered and the mid-high forward balance of most Japanese reissues is welcome, not something to be feared.
